sec.35 Drilling petroleum well or bore and converting petroleum well to bore— Act , ss 281 , 282 and 283 and 1923 Act , ss 75J , 75K and 75L
The requirement mentioned in subsection (2) is prescribed for— section 281 (1) of the Act and section 75J (1) of the 1923 Act for drilling a petroleum well; and section 282 (2) of the Act and section 75K (2) of the 1923 Act for drilling a bore; and section 282 (3) of the Act for drilling a water injection bore or water observation bore; and section 75K (3) of the 1923 Act for drilling a water observation bore; and section 283 (1) (b) of the Act and section 75L (1) (b) of the 1923 Act for converting a petroleum well to a bore. The drilling or conversion must be carried out— in the way required by the construction and abandonment code; or in another way approved in writing by the chief inspector. (sec.35-ssec.1) The requirement mentioned in subsection (2) is prescribed for— section 281 (1) of the Act and section 75J (1) of the 1923 Act for drilling a petroleum well; and section 282 (2) of the Act and section 75K (2) of the 1923 Act for drilling a bore; and section 282 (3) of the Act for drilling a water injection bore or water observation bore; and section 75K (3) of the 1923 Act for drilling a water observation bore; and section 283 (1) (b) of the Act and section 75L (1) (b) of the 1923 Act for converting a petroleum well to a bore. (sec.35-ssec.2) The drilling or conversion must be carried out— in the way required by the construction and abandonment code; or in another way approved in writing by the chief inspector.
