228 Offences by employees and agents (1) This section applies if a person who commits an offence under this Act committed the offence while acting— (a) for or on behalf of another person; and (b) within the scope of the actual or apparent authority given to her, him or it by the other person. (2) The other person is also guilty of the offence and is liable to the penalty for that offence.
