20B Chief factors to be considered when there is only one application (1) This section applies if only one application for an exploration permit is received in respect of an area. (2) In deciding whether to grant or refuse to grant an exploration permit, the chief factors the Minister must take into account are— (a) the merits of the work program proposed by the applicant; and S. 20B(2)(b) amended by No. 20/2020 s. 8(1). (b) the likelihood that the work program will be carried out; and S. 20B(2)(c) inserted by No. 20/2020 s. 8(2). (c) any prescribed factor.
