144 Operations on unrestricted Crown land (1) A person must not carry out any significant operation on any unrestricted Crown land as part of a petroleum operation unless the person has consulted the Minister responsible for the land. S. 144(2) amended by No. 39/2018 s. 48. (2) If a person has complied with subsection (1) and the conditions of the relevant authority, the person may carry out the operation without the need to obtain any other consent or authority, despite anything to the contrary in any Act or subordinate instrument other than the **Environment Protection Act 2017**, the **Flora and Fauna Guarantee Act 1988** and the Fire Protection Regulations 1992.
