122 Minister must publish certain details in case of reportable event S. 122(1) substituted by No. 20/2020 s. 19(2). (1) In this section— ***reportable event*** means— (a) the granting of an exploration permit under Part 3; or (b) the granting of a production licence under Division 3 of Part 5; or (c) the acceptance of an operation plan under Division 1 of Part 11; or (d) the issuing of an improvement notice or a prohibition notice. (2) The Minister must publish notice of each reportable event in the Government Gazette within 14 days of the event occurring. (3) The notice must— (a) state that the reportable event has occurred and when it occurred; and S. 122(3)(b) amended by No. 20/2020 s. 19(3)(a). (b) set out details of who holds the relevant permit or licence or, in the case of an improvement notice or a prohibition notice, the relevant authority; and S. 122(3)(c) amended by No. 20/2020 s. 19(3)(b). (c) contain a brief description of the authority area. S. 122(4) amended by No. 20/2020 s. 19(4). (4) In the case of an exploration permit or production licence, if there was more than one application for the relevant permit or licence, the notice must also contain— (a) an outline of the reasons why the permit or licence was granted to the successful applicant; and (b) if the chief reason was the superiority of the intended work program of the successful applicant, an outline of that work program. (5) The notice may contain any other details the Minister considers to be appropriate. S. 122(6) inserted by No. 20/2020 s. 19(5). (6) The notice must contain any prescribed details.
