#### 8 Exemptions granted by Environment Protection Authority 8 Exemptions granted by Environment Protection Authority > > (1) The Environment Protection Authority may, by order in writing, exempt a specified person or class of persons from any of the licensing requirements. > > > (2) An order that exempts a class of persons from any of the licensing requirements must be published in the Gazette. > > > (3) An exemption from licensing requirements granted under this clause is subject to such conditions (if any) as may be specified in the order. > > > (4) In this clause— > > > > licensing requirements means— > > > > > (a) the provisions of Division 1 of Part 6 of the Act, and > > > > > (b) the provisions of this Part.
