#### 24 Renewal of licences 24 Renewal of licences > > (1) The Environment Protection Authority may, on the application of the holder of a licence, renew the licence. > > > (2) An application for the renewal of a licence may be made before the expiry of the current licence, but no later than 3 months after its expiry. > > > (3) An application for the renewal of a licence must be— > > > > > (a) in the approved form, and > > > > > (b) accompanied by such material or information to support the application (such as qualifications and proof of age and identity) as the Environment Protection Authority may require, and > > > > > (c) accompanied by the applicable fee for the renewal of a licence. > > > (4) The Environment Protection Authority may require the holder of a licence to surrender the holder’s existing licence before renewing the licence. > > > (5) The applicable fee for the renewal of a licence is as follows— > > > > | Period during which application made | Application for 1 year licence renewal | Application for 5 year licence renewal | > > | Period 1 | Not applicable | $196 | > > | Period 2 | Not applicable | $295 | > > | Period 3 | Not applicable | $395 | > > | Period 4 | Not applicable | $405 | > > | Period 5 | $104 | $415 | > > | Period 6 | $107 | $425 | > > > (6) The Environment Protection Authority may at its discretion waive, remit, reduce or refund any fee payable under this clause. > > **cl 24:** Am 2021 (694), Sch 2\[14\].
