#### 4 Restrictions on operation of this Act 4 Restrictions on operation of this Act > > (1) This Act does not apply so as to affect any activities conducted in accordance with a licence, permit or other authority under another Act (for example the [Property and Stock Agents Act 2002](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2002-066), the [Firearms Act 1996](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1996-046), or the [Motor Dealers and Repairers Act 2013](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2013-107)).
