#### 73 Withdrawal of application (1) A patentee who has applied for an extension of the term of a standard patent may, by notice in writing to the Commissioner, withdraw the application. (2) If an application for an extension of the term of a standard patent is withdrawn, the Commissioner must publish in the Official Journal a notice stating that the application has been withdrawn.
