51 Service eligibility guidelines
(1) In exercising power under this Division, the Secretary –
(a) is to have regard to service eligibility guidelines developed by the Secretary and approved by the Minister for the purpose; and
(b) [Section 51 Subsection (1) amended by No. 28 of 2020, s. 19, Applied:30 Dec 2020] may have regard to such other matters as the Secretary considers necessary or expedient.
(2) [Section 51 Subsection (2) amended by No. 28 of 2020, s. 19, Applied:30 Dec 2020] In developing the service eligibility guidelines, the Secretary is to liaise with such industry bodies, standards bodies, regulatory authorities and other interested parties as the Secretary considers necessary or expedient.
(3) [Section 51 Subsection (3) amended by No. 28 of 2020, s. 19, Applied:30 Dec 2020] The Secretary is to publish the service eligibility guidelines as the Secretary considers necessary or expedient or as the Minister may from time to time direct.
