#### 231 Early termination of valuation arbitration 231 Early termination of valuation arbitration > > (1) If the applicant in a valuation arbitration withdraws the application made to the Secretary under clause 39(2) of Schedule 3 to the Act in respect of the bus service assets in question before the conclusion of the arbitration, the arbitrator must terminate the arbitration as soon as the arbitrator receives a written notice from the Secretary to that effect. > > > (2) Nothing in this clause affects the operation of clause 230. > > > (3) This clause prevails over section 18 of the Arbitration Act and any other provision of that Act to the extent of any inconsistency.
