#### 45 Authorised officers 45 Authorised officers > > (1) A person who was an authorised officer immediately before section 46W was substituted by the amending Act is taken to have been— > > > > > (a) appointed as an authorised officer by the regulator under that section as substituted and subject to the limitations specified in the person’s instrument of appointment, and > > > > > (b) authorised under clause 3 (1) (a) of Schedule 5, as amended by the amending Act. > > > (2) This clause does not prevent the variation or revocation of any limitations specified in the person’s instrument of appointment.
