#### 17 Drivers’ authorities: private hire vehicles 17 Drivers’ authorities: private hire vehicles > > (1) A person who was the holder of an authority under Division 2 of Part 2 immediately before the insertion of Division 4 into that Part by the amending Act authorising the person to drive private hire vehicles is taken to be a person authorised under Division 5 of Part 4A as inserted by that Act. > > > (2) Accordingly, the authority held by that person is taken to be an authority under Division 5 of Part 4A as so inserted.
