38 Application of Regulation to authorised officers

38 Application of Regulation to authorised officers

(1) Nothing in this Regulation prevents an authorised officer from doing, in the exercise of the authorised officer’s functions under the Act, any act or thing the doing of which is otherwise prohibited by this Regulation.

(2) This clause does not, however, authorise any authorised officer (other than a police officer) to possess a firearm (within the meaning of the Firearms Act 1996) while on the trust lands except with the written permission of the Trust or the Chief Executive.
