40C Immunity from liability for PWSS and IPSC officials
(1) This section applies to the following persons (the protected persons): (a) the CEO; (b) the Commissioners; (c) the staff of the PWSS; (d) persons whose services are made available to the PWSS under section 39; (e) consultants engaged under section 40; (f) persons made available under section 40A to assist the IPSC; (g) consultants engaged under section 40B. (2) A protected person is not liable to civil proceedings in relation to an act done, or omitted to be done, in good faith, in the performance or purported performance, or exercise or purported exercise, of the protected person’s functions, powers or duties under this Act.
