52 Role of Integrity and Oversight Committee

The Minister must not make a recommendation under section 50(1), 51(1) or 58(1) unless—

(a) the Minister has submitted details of the proposed recommendation to the Integrity and Oversight Committee; and

(b) the Integrity and Oversight Committee has given written notice to the Minister, within 30 days after that submission, informing the Minister that the Integrity and Oversight Committee has decided unanimously to support the proposed recommendation.
