37Incentive to retire

#### 37 Incentive to retire (1) A Secretary may give a notice in writing to an SES employee in the relevant Department stating that the employee will become entitled to a payment of a specified amount if the employee retires within a period specified in the notice. (1A) A notice may be given to an SES employee under subsection (1) whether or not the employee has reached the minimum retiring age. (2) If the employee retires within the specified period, by notice in writing to the Secretary: (a) the employee is entitled to be paid the specified amount; and (b) the employee is taken, for all purposes, to have retired involuntarily from the Parliamentary Service.
