24 Transfer of preserved benefit

(1) If a benefit under this Part is required by the specified standards to be preserved, a former member is entitled to have the amount of preserved benefit transferred to another complying superannuation fund nominated by the former member to the Board and may apply to the Board to make the transfer.

(2) Subject to section 24A, the Board must transfer that amount to that other complying superannuation fund.
