39 Travel by presiding officers

(1) This section applies in relation to international travel by a presiding officer. The presiding officer and staff (2) International travel expenses are prescribed for the following: (a) the presiding officer; (b) if the presiding officer’s spouse accompanies the presiding officer—one staff member accompanying the presiding officer; (c) if the presiding officer’s spouse does not accompany the presiding officer—up to 2 staff members accompanying the presiding officer. Spouse of the presiding officer (3) For the spouse of the presiding officer to accompany the presiding officer, the following are prescribed: (a) international travel expenses; (b) transport costs for incidental travel within Australia.
