53 Annual amounts reduced if a person begins to be a member during a year

(1) This section applies if: (a) an annual dollar amount (whether relating to a calendar or financial year) of public resources, or resources under Part 5, is to be provided to a person under this Act; and (b) the person becomes a member during a year. (2) The annual dollar amount is worked out using the following formula: Start formula Annual dollar amount for the year times start fraction Number of days left in the year over 365 end fraction end formula (3) The amount must be rounded to the nearest whole number that is more than zero.
