10 Notification of base rate

(1) On or before 1 July each year, the Minister must—

(a) notify the Parliamentary Counsel of the amount of the base rate for the financial year ending on 30 June of that year so notice of the amount may be published on the NSW legislation website, and

(b) give public notice on an appropriate government website of the amount of the base rate for the financial year ending on 30 June of that year.

(2) A failure to comply with subsection (1) does not affect the operation of section 9.
