15 July 2021 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 3073 SHIRE OF CARNARVON HEALTH AMENDMENT LOCAL LAW 2021 Under the powers conferred by the Local Government Act 1995, and all other powers enabling it, the Council of the Shire of Carnarvon resolved on 25 May 2021 to make the following local law.

1. Citation This local law is cited as the Shire of Carnarvon Health Amendment Local Law 2021.
2. Commencement This local law comes into operation 14 days after its publication in the Government Gazette.
3. Principal local law This local law amends the Shire of Carnarvon Heath Local Laws 1997 as published in the Government Gazette on 23 July 1997.
4. Clause 70(3) amended In clause 70(3), the word ‘not’ is inserted after ‘This Section shall’.
5. Clause 73(b) amended In clause 73(b) the words ‘except where registered homing pigeons are freed for exercise,’ are deleted.
6. Clause 73A added After Clause 73 add the following— Persons not to release pigeons unless an owner or occupier in the district 73A. A person shall not release a pigeon or pigeons anywhere in the district unless that person is also an owner or occupier of property in the district. ————

PART 1—DEFINITIONS AND OPERATION 1.1 Citation This local law may be cited as the Shire of Carnarvon Parking Local Law 2021. 1.2 Application (1) Subject to subclause (2), this local law applies throughout the district. (2) This local law does not apply to a parking facility or a parking station that is not occupied by the Shire, unless the Shire and the owner or occupier of that facility or station have agreed in writing that this local law will apply to that facility or station. (3) The agreement referred to in subclause (2) may be made on such terms and conditions as the parties may agree. 1.3 Commencement This local law will come into operation on the fourteenth day after the day on which it is published in the Government Gazette. 1.4 Repeal
