4206 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 13 November 2020 395. If a player withdraws before they have teed off in a tournament, then bets on the player will be void. If a player withdraws after they have teed off in a tournament then bets on that player will stand. Any players who withdraw after they have completed 3 holes or more are considered as players and are therefore losers. 396. Tournament, match and group betting will be settled on the player achieving the highest placing at the end of the tournament including any play-off holes played. This will apply, even if both (or all) players ‘miss the cut’. The Dead Heat Rules apply to any official tied results where a playoff is not played. In Tournament group betting the winner will be the player with the highest placing at the end of the tournament. Players missing the cut will be eliminated. If all listed players miss the cut the player with the lowest score at the cut will be deemed the winner. In Tournament match betting the winner will be the player with the highest placing at the end of the tournament. If both players miss the cut, then the one with the lowest score will be deemed the winner. If a player withdraws or is disqualified after making the cut, when his opponent has already missed the cut, the disqualified player is deemed the winner. If a player withdraws or is disqualified before the cut is made the other player is deemed the winner. In the event of a tie in tournament groups, dead heat rules applies. In the event of a tie in tournament match betting, stakes are refunded. 397. For Player to lead at the End of Any Round betting, if a player tees off in round 1 all bets will stand. Players do not have to complete all four rounds for bets to stand and the dead-heat rule is not applicable. Tournament Group Betting If one of the players in a group does not tee off in the tournament, then any group bets placed on that specific player will be void. 398. Player Handicap Betting If a player tees off and then misses the cut, is disqualified, or withdraws, bets on that player will be settled as losers. Only the scheduled 72 holes count; play-off holes are ignored. If the tournament is reduced to fewer than 72 holes then all bets on the handicap betting market are void. Should the tournament be reduced to 36 holes or less then all bets on this market will be void. Only the players listed on the handicap list count for betting purposes. In the event of a tie (once the score has been adjusted for the handicap) then the Dead Heat Rules apply. 412. Insurebet 5 Places Price offered is for the golfer to win the tournament. If the golfer fails to win but finishes in the top 5, including ties, the bet stake is returned. 458. OLYMPICS AND COMMONWEALTH GAMES For the Olympic Games, payouts will be based on podium placing. RWWA does not recognize overturned decisions for betting purposes. All wagers are settled as per the official IOC result at the time of the medal/podium ceremony. In the event of a disqualification, the medal/podium ceremony will count as the final result and determine settlement of bets. 459. Unless otherwise stated in the market; all bets will be settled according to the Rules for the relevant sport and/or the relevant Sports Betting Rules. 460. The Dead Heat Rule applies to all Olympics and Commonwealth Games markets. 461. If an event is postponed, bets will stand as long as the event takes place within 48 hours of the initial scheduled time. If the event is cancelled or takes place after this period, bets will be voided. 481. RUGBY UNION Acceptance of Bets & Settlement Unless otherwise stated in the betting market, the following markets will include extra time for settlement purposes. Head to Head, Line (Handicap) markets, Total Points Markets, Player Performance/ Statistical markets. Extra Time does not include any penalty shoot-outs. Premiership/Minor Premiership/Make Grand Final : All In Betting. Any Team which has Points Deducted due to breaches of rules and regulations will be deemed a starter for resulting purposes. Any loss of Premierships after the completion of the Grand Final will be deemed null and void and all bets will stand.
