#### 42 Grounds for taking disciplinary action 42 Grounds for taking disciplinary action > The Secretary may take disciplinary action against the holder of a permit on any one or more of the following grounds— > > > (a) the holder has contravened this Act or the regulations, whether or not the holder is prosecuted or convicted for the contravention, > > > (b) the holder has contravened a law of this or any other Australian jurisdiction (whether or not the contravention is an offence and whether or not the holder is prosecuted or convicted for the contravention) with respect to any of the following— > > > > > (i) a permit or an equivalent authorisation, > > > > > (ii) any other matter prescribed by the regulations, > > > (c) the holder has failed to comply with a condition of the permit, > > > (d) the holder has wilfully misled or obstructed the Secretary or an authorised officer in the exercise of any function under this Act, > > > (e) the holder has engaged in improper or unethical conduct that indicates that the holder is unfit to hold the permit, > > > (f) any other ground prescribed by the regulations.
