#### 33 Storage of paintball markers 33 Storage of paintball markers > > (1) Paintball markers must be stored— > > > > > (a) in an inoperable state (such as by having the gas canister removed), and > > > > > (b) in a strong lockable metal container that is locked to prevent access to the paintball marker. > > > (2) The holder of a permit who contravenes the requirements of subsection (1) is guilty of an offence. > > > > Maximum penalty—imprisonment for 6 months or 200 penalty units (or both). > > > (3) The regulations may set out further requirements for or with respect to the storage of paintball markers.
