22 Certain unpaid leave taken to be paid leave
For the purposes of subsection 34(2) of the Act, unpaid leave taken by a person on a day is taken to be paid leave for the purposes of paragraph 34(1)(b) of the Act if: (a) the person receives a payment for workers’ compensation or accident compensation for that day; and (b) the payment relates to the person’s employment with an employer; and (c) the payment is from an entity other than the employer.
