#### 216 Discharge of methyl bromide (Act s 45B) For the purposes of paragraph 45B(1)(d) of the Act, a person may discharge methyl bromide if: (a) the discharge occurs while it is being used for a QPS use; or (b) the discharge occurs: (i) during a year for which the person is a non‑QPS permit holder; and (ii) while the permit holder’s allocated amount of methyl bromide for the year is being used for a non‑QPS use by the permit holder, or someone else acting on behalf of the permit holder, in accordance with the permit; or (c) the discharge results from the use of the methyl bromide for laboratory and analytical uses; or (d) the person is the holder of a feedstock permit.
