19BTransfer of licences

#### 19B Transfer of licences (1) The Minister may transfer a licence, other than a suspended licence, from the licensee to another person (the transferee) on a joint application by the licensee and the transferee. (2) An application must: (a) be in the approved form; and (b) be signed by both applicants; and (c) be given to the Minister. (4) The Minister must not grant an application unless satisfied that the transferee is a fit and proper person to be granted a licence. > Note: The mandatory fit and proper person considerations are set out in section 13B. (6) A decision by the Minister transferring a licence, or refusing to transfer a licence, must be by written notice given to the applicants. (7) A notice of a decision refusing to transfer a licence must state the reasons for the decision. (8) If the Minister transfers a licence, the transferee is taken to be the licensee on and after the date of the transfer.
