149 Validity of acts and decisions Anything done by or in relation to a person purporting to act under an appointment as, or to act as, Ombudsman under section 132 or 143 is not invalid merely because: (a) the appointment was ineffective; or (b) the appointment had ceased to have effect; or (c) if the appointment is to act as Ombudsman – the occasion to act had not arisen or had ceased.
