#### 31A Engagement of persons to conduct alternative dispute resolution processes (1) The Ombudsman may, on behalf of the Commonwealth, engage a person to conduct a kind of alternative dispute resolution process under Subdivision D of Division 3 of Part IIF. (2) The Ombudsman must not engage a person under subsection (1) unless the Ombudsman is satisfied, having regard to the person’s qualifications and experience, that the person is a suitable person to conduct the relevant kind of dispute resolution process. (3) Persons are to be engaged on the terms and conditions that the Ombudsman determines in writing.
