#### 21AZB Responding to inquiries and notices Authorisation (1) A person is authorised to give information, produce documents or other records and answer questions in response to: (a) inquiries made under section 21AZ; or (b) a notice given under section 21AZA. > Note: This subsection constitutes an authorisation for the purposes of the Privacy Act 1988 and other laws. (2) The authorisation in subsection (1) has effect despite anything in another law of the Commonwealth, or a law of a State or Territory: (a) whether written or unwritten; and (b) whether enacted before or after the commencement of this Part. Liability for a penalty (3) A person is not liable to any penalty under the provisions of any other law of the Commonwealth, or a law of a State or Territory, by reason of the person giving information, producing documents or other records or answering questions in response to: (a) inquiries made under section 21AZ; or (b) a notice given under section 21AZA.
