22A Act applies equally to attendance in person or by audio or audio visual link For the avoidance of doubt, except as otherwise provided by this Division, a provision of this Act that applies— (a) in relation to attendance of a person— (i) required under a witness summons; or (ii) as legal representation at an examination; or (iii) by voluntary appearance (including under section 18O); or (iv) in accordance with section 18P— applies in relation to attendance by audio visual link or audio link in the same way that it applies in relation to attendance in person; and (b) in relation to the production of documents required under a witness summons applies in relation to production of documents by secure electronic means in the same way that it applies in relation to production of documents in person.
