18G Offence to fail to comply with a witness summons A person who is duly served with a witness summons must not, without reasonable excuse, refuse or fail to comply with the witness summons. Penalty: 240 penalty units or imprisonment for 2 years. See also section 72 of the **Criminal Procedure Act 2009** which deals with the evidential burden of proof. S. 18H inserted by No. 2/2019 s. 163.
