9 Amount of levy
(1) For the purposes of subsection 5(5) of the Regulatory Levies Act, the amount of safety investigation levy imposed on a notifiable accident or occurrence is worked out in accordance with this section. (2) The amount is the amount of the costs and expenses reasonably incurred by NOPSEMA in relation to the conduct of the compliance investigation in respect of the notifiable accident or occurrence to the day on which, in accordance with subsection 11(4), the investigation is taken to have ceased, less $30,000.
