3 Object
The object of this Act is to provide an effective regulatory framework for—
(a) petroleum exploration and recovery; and
S. 3(ab) inserted by No. 42/2024 s. 4.
(ab) underground petroleum storage; and
(b) the injection and storage of greenhouse gas substances—
in the Victorian offshore area.
