81Disapplication and modification of laws

#### 81 Disapplication and modification of laws (1) The regulations may provide that a law: (a) does not apply by reason of section 80 in an offshore area; or (b) applies by reason of section 80 in an offshore area with such modifications as are specified in the regulations. (2) For the purposes of subsection (1), modifications includes additions, omissions and substitutions. (3) Regulations made for the purposes of subsection (1) may make provision for, and in relation to: (a) investing a court of a State with federal jurisdiction; or (b) conferring jurisdiction on a court of a Territory.
