#### 146 Petroleum exploration permit transferred—transferee to be treated as applicant Scope (1) This section applies if a transfer of a petroleum exploration permit is registered under section 479: (a) after an application has been made under section 141 for the grant of a petroleum retention lease over a block or blocks in relation to which the petroleum exploration permit is in force; and (b) before any action has been taken by the Joint Authority under section 142 or 143 in relation to the application. Transferee to be treated as applicant (2) After the transfer, sections 141 to 144 and Part 2.10 have effect in relation to the application as if any reference in those sections and that Part to the applicant were a reference to the transferee.
