sec.403 Declaration of safety zone around a structure or equipment
A regulation may establish a safety zone around a structure or equipment in coastal waters. A safety zone may only be established for the purpose of protecting the structure or equipment. The safety zone may extend not more than 500m from the outer edge of the structure or equipment. The regulation may apply to— all vessels; or all vessels except those specified in the regulation. (sec.403-ssec.1) A regulation may establish a safety zone around a structure or equipment in coastal waters. (sec.403-ssec.2) A safety zone may only be established for the purpose of protecting the structure or equipment. (sec.403-ssec.3) The safety zone may extend not more than 500m from the outer edge of the structure or equipment. (sec.403-ssec.4) The regulation may apply to— all vessels; or all vessels except those specified in the regulation.
