sec.296 Applicant must be notified

The Minister must give the applicant notice of the Minister’s decision under section 294 . If the Minister provisionally renews the works licence under section 294 , the notice must contain notification— of the term of the renewal; and of the conditions of the renewed tenure; and that the provisional renewal will lapse unless the applicant, before the end of the primary payment period— gives the Minister a written acceptance of the renewal; and lodges any security required by the Minister under section 399 ; and pays the fee that must be paid under section 425 . Paragraph (b) — section 304 provides for renewals to be granted subject to conditions. The term specified under subsection (2) (a) must not be more than 5 years.
