sec.287 Term of renewal of works licence
A renewal of a works licence comes into force on the later of the following days— the day on which the renewal is registered; the day on which the previous term of the tenure expires. See division 4 for renewal. The term of a renewal of a tenure expires at the end of the period specified in the notice under section 296 . For the maximum term of renewal see section 296 (3) . The tenure may be surrendered at any time (see section 312 ). The period runs from the day on which the previous term of the tenure expires.
