436Jurisdiction of Territory courts

#### 436 Jurisdiction of Territory courts (1) Jurisdiction is conferred on the courts that have jurisdiction in a Territory in all matters arising under the laws of the Territory applied under section 428. (2) Jurisdiction is conferred under subsection (1) within the limits (other than limits of locality) of the jurisdiction of the court. (3) Subsection (2) applies to limits as to subject matter or other limits. (4) For the purposes of this section, the Territories are: (a) the Northern Territory; and (b) the external territories to which this Act extends under section 36.
