192Mining licences

#### 192 Mining licences (1) This Part provides for the grant of mining licences over blocks in an offshore area. (2) A mining licence may be granted over: (a) a vacant standard block (see Division 2); or (b) certain blocks that are not vacant (see Division 2); or (c) a tender block (see Division 3). > Note 1: A tender block is a block that has been declared available for tender. A standard block is any other block (see sections 19 and 20). > Note 2: A retention or exploration licence holder may apply for a mining licence over the same area or part of the same area.
