18 Notice of proposal to declare an area

If the Minister proposes to declare an area, the Minister must publish a notice on the Department’s website that: (a) specifies the area that the Minister proposes to declare; and (b) invites submissions from the public on the proposal; and (c) specifies how submissions may be made; and (d) specifies the day by which submissions may be made (which must be at least 60 days after the day the notice is published); and (e) includes any other information that the Minister considers appropriate.
