7 Application of Act to occupations, trades and callings

(1)  [Section 7 Subsection (1) substituted by No. 59 of 2008, s. 5, Applied:19 Jan 2009] This Act applies to the occupation, trade or calling that is performance of electrical work as described in Part 1 of Schedule 2 .

(1BA)  [Section 7 Subsection (1BA) inserted by No. 26 of 2016, s. 7, Applied:01 Jan 2017] This Act applies to the occupation, trade or calling that is performance of building services work as described in Part 4 of Schedule 2 .

(1C)  [Section 7 Subsection (1C) inserted by No. 59 of 2008, s. 5, Applied:19 Jan 2009] This Act applies to any occupation, trade or calling added to Schedule 2 by order under subsection (2) .

(2)  Where the Minister is satisfied that, in the course of any occupation, trade or calling, a person is likely to, or may, create a hazard, risk or danger to –

(a) public health or safety; or

(b) property or infrastructure –
