4 Meaning of continuing professional development

[Section 4 Amended by No. 26 of 2016, s. 6, Applied:01 Jan 2017] For the purposes of this Act, a practitioner, or building services provider, is taken to demonstrate continuing professional development if he or she has undertaken and can show commitment to –

(a) development of skills in respect of the prescribed work which he or she proposes to carry out and any learning required for that purpose; and

(b) maintenance of his or her existing skills.
