29 Effect of a permit ceasing to be valid
Offence—failure to evacuate and secure a confined space
If a permit to work ceases to be valid, the operator of a prescribed ship or prescribed unit must ensure that:
(a) the confined space is evacuated; and
(b) the entrance to the confined space is closed or secured to prevent re‑entry until there is again a valid permit to work for work in the confined space.
