79 Act not to give rise to other liabilities etc.
Subject to section 80, nothing in this Act: (a) confers a right of action in any civil proceedings (other than proceedings under Part 1 of Schedule 2) in respect of any breach of a provision of this Act or the regulations; or (b) confers a defence to an action in any civil proceedings (other than proceedings under Part 1 of Schedule 2) or otherwise affects a right of action in any civil proceedings (other than proceedings under Part 1 of Schedule 2).
