#### 50 Notices not to be tampered with or removed A person must not: (a) tamper with any notice, or copy of a notice, that has been displayed under subsection 44(3), 45(3), 45(8), 46(9), 46(12), 47(8) or 47(11) while that notice is so displayed; or (b) remove any notice, or copy of a notice, that has been so displayed: (i) in the case of a notice displayed under subsection 44(3)—until the plant or thing to which the notice relates is returned to the workplace from which it was removed; or (ii) in the case of a notice displayed under subsection 45(3), 45(8), 46(9), 46(12), 47(8) or 47(11)—before the notice, or direction to which the notice relates, as the case requires, has expired or been revoked or a new notice issued following the variation of the notice or direction. > Note: A person who breaches section 50 may be subject to a criminal prosecution (see Schedule 2).
