#### 15 Declarations substituted for oaths 15 Declarations substituted for oaths > In any case where by any Act relating to any of the public revenue or any public office or public department, or by any official regulation in any department, any oath or affidavit might, but for this Act, be required to be taken or made by any person— > > > (a) on the doing of any act, matter, or thing, or > > > (b) for the purpose of verifying any book, account, entry, or return, or > > > (c) for any other purpose whatsoever, > > the Governor may, by notification in the Gazette, substitute a declaration to the same effect as such oath or affidavit.
