57Inspectors and Agency inspectors

#### 57 Inspectors and Agency inspectors (1) The Minister may, in writing, appoint a person as an inspector for the purposes of this Act. (2) Where the Minister is satisfied that a person has, in accordance with the Agency Agreement or a Supplementary Agency Agreement, been designated by the Agency as an Agency inspector to Australia, the Minister shall, in writing, declare the person to be an Agency inspector for the purposes of this Act. (3) Where the Minister declares a person to be an Agency inspector for the purposes of this Act, the Minister shall give the person a copy of the declaration. (4) The Minister may, in the Minister’s discretion: (a) determine terms and conditions of appointment, including remuneration and allowances, of a person appointed under subsection (1); and (b) at any time terminate such an appointment.
